The larger town of Petworth is found to the South where there are more comprehensive of amenities available. With the rail commuter in mind the mainline station at Witley offers a frequent service to London Waterloo or alternatively there is access via the A283 to Milford where there is a connection with the A3 providing a road link to London and the south coast as well as Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Haslemere is found to the north-west and offers a wide selection of amenities including specialist shops and stores, supermarkets and a further mainline rail link to London Waterloo in under an hour.
