Manor House stands in the centre of Forest Row a very popular and lively village on the borders of East/West Sussex and the northern extremities of the Ashdown Forest with its 6,400 acres of heath/woodland for riding (by permit) and walking. The village itself has an extremely wide and varied range of local shops, specialist stores, mini supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The area is well served with a selection of both state and private schools, including a village primary school, Greenfields, Rudolf Steiner Michael Hall, and Brambletye.
